about
Stand-Alone Single From GospelbeacH a pop song of love and loneliness from Los Angeles features Trevor Beld Jimenez (Parting Lines), Luther Russell (Those Pretty Wrongs) pointing in the direction of a NEW ALBUM in the works for Curation Records.
lyrics
Time doesn't make things better all the time
sometimes it's just too late
but you can go to bed and have a sweet dream and wake up with a clean slate.
I was holding on so tight I just couldn't take it anymore, no I can't take it anymore. It's too late.
You and I still make each other laugh but we still make each other cry
looking back on everything we had I think it's worth another try.
We all live in a world strung out on love but it's not enough, we still make each other cry, it's too much.
I really hurt you didn't I?
I'm really sorry
I shoulda looked you in the eye
I'm really sorry that I lied
and made you cry
now I'm the guy singing songs about you.
(repeat second verse)
It's too late
It's too late
It's too late
I really hurt you didn't I?
I'm really sorry
I shoulda looked you in the eye
I'm really sorry that I lied
and made you cry and you made me cry...
now I'm the guy who made you cry I made my bed and now I lie without you, I'm lying here without you...

The Tyde have always felt like my secret discovery in L.A. and I feel like I'm secretly their biggest fan. The music resonates with me. As the music transforms through the years, I similarily do too. Play it as it Lays! BTW I had a "situations change" event last year and she took my Once shirt! Motherfucker! jamesey

I'm so excited for the full release of this album. These two preview tracks are wonderful. "December in Her Eyes" is so slinky and moved me so much I slid out of my chair listening to it. Thoughtful writing and gorgeous, captivating music--this sounds like an amazing artist firing on all cylinders. Damon Dorsey
I love this record. Darren’s words have always resonated with me on a deep level. Like it’s shit that no one wanted to tell me, but I needed to hear… terriblarry
